OVERVIEW Tithika is a Hindu lunar calendar app that calculates tithis, nakshatras, and festival dates based on your location. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Location Tithika requests access to your device location solely to calculate accurate tithi, sunrise, and sunset times for your local area. Your location is used only on your device and is never transmitted to any server or third party.

You may also enter your city manually, in which case no GPS location data is accessed at all.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION Your location is used exclusively to: • Calculate tithi transitions based on your local sunrise • Display accurate sunrise and sunset times • Show the correct nakshatra and its transition time for your timezone

All calculations are performed entirely on your device. No data is sent to external servers.

DATA STORAGE Your chosen location (city name, coordinates, and timezone) is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data never leaves your device.

DATA SHARING We do not collect, sell, share, or transmit any personal information to third parties. Tithika contains no advertising, no analytics tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect user data.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY Tithika does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
